All instructors with the school are former VPS skaters, which ensures proper teaching, consistency and correction to every student.
Sandy Velenosi: Head Instructor
For 17 years, Sandy brings his speed, balance, lateral movements, agility, resistance training, stick and puck control, shooting skills and hockey experience to Velenosi Power Skating and Hockey Development Clinics. Sandy has instructed 1000’s of hockey players from Beginner to Pro, and many teams and hockey organizations all over the world including Mount Hamilton,Hamilton Hub, Caledonia,Stoney Creek Warriors, Stoney Creek Girls Junior and Midget AA, Chedoke, Flamborough, Hamilton Reps AAA/AA, Hamilton Bulldogs AAA/AA, Hamilton Hawks Girls, Grimsby, Hamilton and Burlington Ringette, Carlisle Hockey School, Hagersville, Norwich, Port Dover, Simcoe, Cayuga,Waterford, Welland, Referee Clinics, Carolina Hurricanes Summer Camps, AHL Hamilton Bulldogs, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Can Am Hockey.
Marilynn Velenosi: Coordinator
Marilynn developed the “Velenosi Way of Skating” 33 years ago, and continues in helping with the specialized teaching techniques, evaluations, co-ordinating the programs and the administration. Marilynn has worked with many pro players including AHL Hamilton Bulldogs under the coaching staff of Lorne Molleken and Walt Kyle.
